She began by saying, “March is a month dedicated to celebrating the achievements and contributions of women throughout history, and it’s a time for us to reflect on the progress we have made.”

Ms. Santos described the accomplishments in detail of women such as Mary Church Terrell, Katherine Johnson, Sojourner Truth, Marie Curie, Rosalind Franklin, Ruth Bader Ginsburg and Sonia Sotomayor.

She want on to say, “Women’s History Month is a time to celebrate the incredible achievements of women throughout history, but it’s also a time to reflect on the work that still needs to be done. As women, we have made incredible progress, to ensure that future generations of women can live in a world where they are valued, respected, and empowered to achieve their dreams.”
